Natural and artificial lighting used to enhance the volume and architecture

The ANZ Centre Atrium provides a breathtaking space in the heart of Christchurch's CBD. It makes use of both natural and artificial light to enhance the volume and architecture. The clever use of indirect lighting techniques coupled with smart controls ensures a visually comfortable solution no matter what time of day.

At night the space is transformed with theatricality and the use of projected, coloured light illuminating the 7m artificial tree against a dimmed backdrop of cover lighting. Beyond the foyer, the centre houses retail, hospitality and office spaces; upper levels use locally made Revalos for their efficient design, superior dust protection (IP50) and lumen maintenance (L90).
