COMPANY

Generator is New Zealand’s leading flexible workspace provider. Precinct Properties’ extensive refurbishment of a former 1920’s publishing and auction house at 30 Waring Taylor Street has created a charming, creative working environment in a desirable inner-city location.

CHALLENGE

Existing character features of the building, such as exposed brick, steelwork and timber finishes were harnessed within the fitout. This combined with exposed services and ceilings at varying heights and the mixed-use nature of the spaces created the requirement for variety and flexibility with the luminaire selection.

SOLUTION & RESULT

Surface mounted ERCO Gimbal luminaires provided ambient illumination within the lower ground lounge and events spaces. A combination of ERCO track and surface mounted Jilly luminaires provided purposeful accent illumination to key zones with the flexibility to move luminaire locations as required.

Ambient and accent lighting was added to the collaborative meeting rooms using ERCO lens wallwash downlights and Energyline direct/indirect suspended luminaires with louvre optic.

User friendly Bluetooth Lighting Control by Casambi completed a flexible, visually comfortable environment.
