New Plymouth Airport

New Plymouth Airport's terminal has been modernized from its original, 1960's structure into a more spacious, modern design. 

Originally built in 1966, New Plymouth Airport has grown from its previous figure of servicing only 50,000 passengers annually to an explosive 411,000 in 2016. This lead to the airport's new refurbishments, in order to prepare for its future needs and role as the gateway to the Taranaki region.
